I don't have to show any stitching progress. Instead I did a few collages as design exercises for my visual journal. I started with paper collages.

But I prefer fiber. The pieces are just fused. This is quick, easy and fun.

Assisi Embroidery, Part II

I just had to add a beaded version of Assisi embroidery.

Assisi Embroidery

I started this little piece a long time ago but never finished it. When I read the March challenge it came to my mind and I finished it: just straight stitches densely worked.

I like French knots and used them for some Assisi style embroidery in my crazy quilts. In these examples the empty spaces are covered with buttons.

I worked this little sampler with my favourite filling stitches.
