This is very slow but I enjoy it.Es geht sehr langsam voran aber es macht mir Spaß.
I do an online beading course with Christen Brown at Joggles "Beadazzled Somemore Purse". I am not going to work a purse, I will do a sample piece only. Every jewelry maker knows free-form peyote stitch but to me, a bead embroiderer, it is new. I want to know how this stitch can be worked on fabric. Working this stitch was not easy for me. There are a few 'mistakes' but I am learning. Using even sized beads would have made things easier but I wanted to work with what I had at hand. I am very proud that I finished lesson 2 in time. I am looking forward to Tuesday when lesson 3 will be available.
This stitch makes nice little flowers. There seem to be endless possibilities.
I am not satisfied with the result of my stitching for Stickamazonen Challange but glad that I tried this stitch. I call my sample 'Flowers, Hills, and Waves'.
This week' TAST2 stitch is great for twigs.
I like this stitch (TAST 2) very much because it is useful for filling surfaces, is easy to do and can be worked in an irregular manner. Great.
