TAST 2012 - Mini Challenge

Longing-for-Spring Mandala

I had a lot of fun with it. For this TAST challenge I used: buttonhole, running, detached chain, fly and feather stitch and whipped wheels.

There's such a lovely flow to this design, aside from the skills, that I really like it a lot. I do like it when skills are used in really interesting design, rather than for their own sake. Thank you for showing us.

How will this be presented, once it's off the hoop?

This is beautiful! I love working on a black background, but it is so much harder on the eyes!

Gorgeous! That's a wonderful way to use so many of the stitches learned through TAST.
